Company Settings: Setting up general defaults

Company Settings - Getting Started

The Company Settings feature within WeconnectU is available to Users with the relevant permissions and will initially be allocated to the Account Owner. These Users are then able to configure the Company's default information. The screenshot below indicates the necessary permissions that should be ticked (Company Settings>Users>Portfolios & Permissions>Company Setup).

The following steps will guide you through the setup of your default settings:

Navigate to the Company Settings Page


  • Upon logging in, the solution will default to your Home Dashboard (refer to article 'The Home Dashboard').
  • Click on the round User Icon found in the top right-hand corner of the menu bar.
  • From the drop-down menu click on Company Settings - your company overview page will open as per the example below:

  • The following tabs are accessible on the left-hand side of the page (they will be covered in the upcoming articles listed below):

Company logo

Company name

Franchise

Company default contact email

Company default phone number

Company website

Company address

Information that will appear on all documentation such as Tenant/Landlord statement created in the WeconnectU RAMS solution.
Users

User's first and last name

User's role

User's email

User's mobile

Typically staff or agents that may require access to your RAMS solution.
Mailboxes

Mailbox name

First name & Last name

Reply to email address

For Users who will typically send emails via your RAMS solution
Portfolios

Can create a portfolio per:

User

Region

Property type etc

Great for restricting access, structuring your business environment, or advance reporting functions e.g. reporting per region.
Notification Templates Customisable email & SMS templates Standard templates used for bulk emails/ SMSs sent from your RAMS solution.
Accounting Settings

Financial settings

Billing & payment settings

Deposit settings

Landlord statement settings

Asset group statement settings

Tenant statement settings

Asset management reporting

Configurable options and parameters that affect your accounting functions and generates default information on documentation such as statements.
Arrears Management

Arrears admin fees

Letter of Demand settings

Arrears interest settings

Default parameters to address overdue payments e.g. penalties and escalations
Lease Settings

Lease defaults

Lease addendum settings

Common default information to facilitate and automate generating lease agreements.
Company Accounts Withdraw (functionality) Company interest earned on the Investment Account.
