Setting up your Auditor as a User

In order to make it easier for auditors to be registered as Users, and to find the information that might be relevant to them when conducting an online audit, we have created an Auditor role.  This role can be assigned to a new or existing User.

Steps to setup your Auditor as a User

  • Navigate to Company Settings > Users
  • At the Role dropdown, select Auditor

By default, the Auditor role now has the following list of permissions that can be selected or unselected:

Logging in

The auditor's home page after logging in will be the Reporting Dashboard.  They will also have access to Company Documents to view the reports they have exported.  An auditor will also be able to see documents exported by other users.

NB!  A user who is not an auditor has the ability to hide documents from auditors by toggling the visibility button on the Company Reports dashboard, in the Auditor column as shown below.

What is the Auditor able to do?

  • Payment History

○ The auditor can view and export bank transactions and remittances.

  • Account Dashboard

○ The auditor can view all account types on the account dashboard as well as export balances.

When viewing an individual account, the auditor can also export account transactions and view statements. The auditor can only see transactions on the account and not categories or billing rules.

What can the Auditor NOT do?

  • Access wallets
  • Add transactions
  • Send statements
  • Cancel payment instructions
  • Release remittances
