Speed it up with Shortcuts
Your system has multiple shortcuts to make sure you work in the most effective (and enjoyable) way possible. This article focuses on the "hidden" shortcuts - those that cannot be seen through a button clearly displayed on your screen.
Have fun trying them out!
The article is split into all the different sections where you will encounter them, and a bonus component of general basic computer shortcuts can be found right at the bottom.
1. Contacts
- When you view a certain contact, you will be able to see to which mandate/asset (for landlord contacts, or which lease (for tenant contacts) they are linked. If you click on the Asset name on the contact overview screen, it will take you to the relevant asset/lease.
2. Assets
- In the Overview tab: If the Asset is part of an Asset Group, you will see a blue link (of the Asset Group name) right above the Google Maps location. Click on it to jump directly into the Asset Group. This is also one of the ways for you to know you linked the Asset to the Asset Group correctly.
3. Leases
- Click on the Asset name (top left) when viewing a certain lease to quickly jump back into the Asset
4. Accounts
- You can access any account from any screen on the system by using Ctrl + A. This will open a pop-up screen where you can search for an account.
- When you view a certain account, you can click on the Asset name (top left in the account) to take you into the Asset. You can also click on the tenant's name to take you into the lease.
- Click on the wallet icon (in the top right block in the account) to jump in to the wallet (Payment Allocations) for the specific account.
- Click on the Payment History icon (in the top right block in the account) to take you to this individual account's payment history.
5. Billing Schedule
- Click on the Asset Name (the first column on the left) to take you into that Account - it will open an additional tab when you click on it.
6. Arrears
- Click on the Asset Name (the first column on the left) to quickly navigate to the Asset. It will open an additional tab upon clicking.
7. Payment Allocations
- Clic on the heading "Tenant" or "Landlord Expense - Creditors" (on the right side of the screen) to jump straight into the account for this Asset.
- Click on the Asset name in the top left block to navigate to the Asset, and on the lease dates to access the lease.
- Click on the words "Payment Reference" or "Unallocated Wallet Balance" in the top-right block to open this account's payment history.
8. Payment Approvals
- Click on the Asset Name to quickly access the wallet (payment allocations).
