Loading and Managing Contacts

Contacts within WeconnectU refers to the contact details of your Landlords, Tenants as well as any other Contacts that you wish to create within the system.

  • Search Contacts - You can search for a specific contact using their name, surname, Id number or mobile number
  • Options: 
    • View Archived - Contacts being archived will remain in this folder and can be unarchived at any time
    • Export Data - This will export all contact information into an excel spreadsheet 

How to upload a Contact: 

  • Click on the New Contact Tab

  • Title: Select the applicable title for the contact
  • Enter the First Name
  • Enter the Last Name
  • ID Type - Select ID type form the drop down list
  • Enter ID Number (compulsory - the system will check that the ID number is unique in the system)
  • Enter Email Address - This is so that communication can be send to the contact 
  • Enter Mobile Number

Should the Contact Person be the representative of a Juristic Entity, tick the box and them complete the additional information as set out below:

  • Entity Type - Choose entity type from Dropdown
  • Entity Name - e.g. Name of the Company
  • Registration Number - complete the Registration Number (compulsory - the system will check that the Registration Number is unique)
  • VAT Number - Complete the VAT Registration number
  • Click on Create

Once the contact is created you can view and edit the contact to make changed and add any additional information: 

  • Designation - Can be used to indicate a Contractor or Complex Manager etc.
  • Other Emails - Additional address will automatically be cc'd in communication send to contact if the box is ticked.  Multiple email addresses to be separated by a comma.
  • Phone - can add additional phone number
  • Website Link - complete if the Juristic has a website address
  • Notes - Some general notes or comments about this contact
